SOS Brigade

The SOS Brigade is a club that Haruhi Suzumiya creates after joining all the different clubs at the school. (She would join one, and the next day she would be on another.. The athletic teams begged her to stay because she was very good, but she left every time) Every time she was looking for a club that would look for or had aliens, ESPers, or time travlers. (This is for those of you who aren't familiar with the series) In the end though, (after Kyon's suggestion) she created her own club.

SOS does not stand for the normal Save Our Souls/Ship, but for Spreading Excitement all Over the World with the Haruhi Suzumiya Brigade (what's bolded is where the SOS is taken from). At the beginning the true purpose of the brigade was not known, but later it is reveal that it is for solving problems of the students that involve aliens, time travlers, ESPers, or anything out of the ordinary.

The members include Yuki Nagato, Itsuki Koizumi, Mikuru Asahina, and Kyon (with no mentioned last name). And leader Haruhi Suzumiya. Haruhi wanted them in and group for the following reasons.

Yuki Nagato: Quiet/Silent Character
Itsuki Koizumi: Mysterious Transfer Student
Mikuru Asahina: Club Maskot/Moe Character
Kyon: Member (He is chosen by her and is the first member, but he is not given a certain reason like the  others)

The reason I have in formed you of this is so that you all know the characters when I spit out names. In order to know more about Haruhi-ism we must know the poeple she's with and what she does. Which is all part of it. Tomorrow I will talk about the massive time quake that brought this altogether. But, here is a picture of the Grand Haruhi herself!!! (with the SOS Brigade)
